Fortune Cookie 52710
Over the years I’ve amassed hundreds of fortune cookie fortunes. I think it’s bad luck to throw them away, so I don’t. I rarely eat the cookie, but I always make sure to open it. This is the fortune that came with the chicken chow fun I ordered from Mee Noodle Shop last night.
I have been contemplating on whether I’d feel successful if I traveled more, like my best friend Jenna is doing now in Quito. I think she is a great success for having the courage to leave her comfortable Los Angeles confines for a three month adventure in Ecuador. But J is homesick, so she doesn’t feel very successful (even though I think she is, which is really all that matters, of course). Maybe success is in the eye of the beholder too.
