What's some of the best places you traveled to? I envy you so much, I want to see the world.(:Awesome question! Two of my favorites off the top of my head are Japan and Brazil - for such different reasons. They are totally opposite in terms of people and cultures, but I felt at home in both places.
Japan is so green and peaceful and the countryside will take your breath away. The people have such a deep sense of respect for nature, their culture, and others that it makes you kind of step back in awe. And the children and old people are adorable - I just wanted to put them in my pocket and carry them everywhere with me.
Brazil is so vibrant and buzzing with life. The people are warm and welcoming and just put themselves out there. It’s a poor country and they don’t have much, but they do know how to enjoy themselves and make the best of it.
You CAN absolutely see the world. The project I’m working on right now, Jet Set Zero, is all about proving that anyone can live and travel abroad - and it doesn’t take a lot of money, contrary to popular belief. If you work or volunteer abroad, your dollars go a lot further.
My advice to you is to save some money (it doesn’t take as much as you think!) and start researching the places you want to go. All you have to do is buy the plane ticket and the hard part is over.
Traveling will reward you in ways you can’t now imagine - if you let it.
